Department of Mathematics
The Department of Mathematics is considered one of the most important scientific departments in the College of Education for Women. It was established in the academic year 1987/1988 and includes both morning and evening undergraduate programs, in addition to the recently launched master’s program. The department aims to provide the Ministry of Education with qualified teaching staff specialized in mathematics.

The Department of Mathematics aspires to become one of the leading mathematics departments in terms of education and research in Iraq and the Arab world in the coming years.
Providing outstanding mathematics programs that support education and scientific research, help develop related skills, and create a healthy academic environment that encourages creativity and collaboration between students and faculty members, while highlighting the beauty and elegance of mathematics and its applications in various sciences to serve the community.
